General Questions - What is Paintless Dent Repair?
Paintless dent repair, also referred to as PDR, is a process used by trained
technicians for repairing dings, dents, and other types of damage from the body panels of a vehicle.
Paintless
Dent Repair involves the manipulation of the damaged area to its original factory finish. Once access to the dented panel
has been achieved, the damaged area is repaired by massaging and manipulating the metal until the desired outcome is achieved
without use of traditional body shop techniques including bond, sanding and painting.
- What types of dents do you repair?
A variety of dents and dings may be repaired using PDR. These include those from minor fender benders,
shopping cart damage, door dings from other vehicles in close parking lots, baseball, basketball and golf ball dents,
hail damage, and other small impressions where the integrity of the paint is still intact.
- How long does paintless dent repair take?
Depending on the size, depth, location and accessibility to the dent, a repair
may take as little as 15 minutes up to several hours. The amount of time your repair will take will be included
in your free estimate.
